Logistics is the set of organizational, managerial and policy designed to optimize the flow of materials and information within and outside the company.

The methods developed in logistics relate to the following themes:

·         production: analysis and definition of models in support of logistic materials inside the factory (positioning areas and organization of internal storage and preparation, logical handling and storage, types of media handling, providing for the call and loading, optimization border line, etc.);

·         supply chain: management of physical and information flows along the supply chain, with particular attention to reducing inventories and the variability of demand along the supply chain;

·         sales: place the distribution centers, optimizing the means of transport, check stocks.
