In recent years, most of the industrial companies, including the automotive industry, have devoted substantial investment in improving the quality of production processes to increase customer satisfaction and gain for its area slices of the market growing. This led to the development of quality monitoring systems for different processes.
In general, a monitoring system consists of three parts:
- transducer - different for different sizes to be measured (eg photodiode for acquisition of optical signals generated by the laser processes);
- data acquisition system;
- software for data analysis and determine the quality of the process.
