Two-cylinder engine 
 

In the first few months of 2007, the bench and vehicle testing stage of the first prototyped version of the 700cc two-cylinder engine was concluded. In particular, its potential in terms of performance was verified, reaching over 80 HP of peak output and, above all, demonstrated that it can significantly reduce fuel consumption, while recording good acoustic and vibrational behaviour at the same time.  On the basis of the results obtained, a family of aspirated and turbocharged two-cylinder engines has been planned, with adequately sized engines (900cc) mainly for subA and A segment vehicles. These new engines will use Multiair technology for valve control and will be available in both petrol and duel petrol/natural gas versions.
