Multijet II Euro5 

 

Over the course of the year, work to optimise the design of the new solenoid injector was completed, to guarantee above all the achievement of the high reliability targets requested. The new Common Rail Multijet II system will be introduced into production at the end of 2008 on the 1.3 SDE Euro 5 engine, providing a significant contribution to the reduction of NOx emissions, without penalising consumption or noise, thanks to its ability to manage multiple injections with a higher degree of flexibility than the earlier Multijet system.
