In 2007, CRF continued to work on the Fold&Dive seat project, producing results able to satisfy the constraints of a defined floorpan and the product requirements, which envisage folding in a single operation to obtain a flat loading area. The output in 2007 mainly regarded the formal approval of the executive project according to Fiat Group Automobiles standards and in the design and technological approval achieved through the use of all numerical simulation competencies for the virtual release and the contemporary presence of two seat suppliers (Lear and Martur), who were mainly involved in the technological decision-making process.
